Postgraduate studies
Nowadays, there is a lot to learn about the
area I study; Pharmacology, anatomy, and any other science related to healing
the human body. That is the main reason why I think I will need to do a PhD
when I finish my career in Chemistry and Pharmacy.
I would like to develop a PhD
in Pharmacology, which is executed in this institution: The University of Chile.
It will last three years. I think this PhD will be essential, because I would
like to work in a Hospital, treating patients and their afflictions. The tools
my degree offers, are not enough. There are some subjects which are not emphasized
in it.
I have looked at the
information about the Pharmacology PhD in my University, and I like it. I think
it offers a fine study program. I have seen the Pharmacology/ Molecular Science
PhD in Johns Hopkins University, too. This University has one of the biggest and
the most important Hospital in U.S.A. It offers good infrastructure and major
research laboratories.
On the other side, I would
also like to study Medicine. I would like to be a neurosurgeon, and work hand
by hand with pharmacology. I have been thinking about this idea for a long
time. I like to study; it is not a problem to me. I hope I do not get tired
studying so much. They are so many years.
I would like to study medicine
in the U.K. I like their culture, their universities, and their way of living.
It is a good nation to live in.
It is a ambitious plan, but I you want, you can. today there is many possibilities to support a PhD or a second career, so go ahead.
ResponderBorrarI have the same problem with medicine, too much years, also I think I couldn't stand in that career, I'm not into watching, touching death people. Greets.
ResponderBorrarA lot of knowledge about the human body is coming, I hope you the best.
ResponderBorrarNeurosurgeon?! That's so cool! It'll certainly be many years of study but everything will be worth it!
ResponderBorrarIf your intention is to be close to patients, as a pharmacist you should dedicate yourself to the clinical area and develop your doctorate there.
ResponderBorrarregards !
Wow! you want to spend many years studying! jajaj
ResponderBorrarI find the idea of studying medicine very attractive, however I prefer to specialize in the pharmaceutical area...
